This guitar is great. It's perfect for metal/hard rock, but is great for ANY type of music. It looks awesome too, and it's at a great price.

This is a masterpiece of guitar--a milestone in the modern guitar era--a sublime guitar, honestly. It has an angelic sound and plays like butter. It can be used for almost anything. The combination of pickups on it is so versatile you really wouldn't believe it. Buy it please, and save yourself much searching and money.

I bought this guitar with the sole purpose of owning a neck thru guitar. Needless to say I bought way more then I intended. The transparent blue finish is the one that I chose and I am extremely satisfied with the looks. In the light it just absolutely shines and the figured maple underneath the finish is just simply gorgeous. I was really impressed with the way the neck felt. While playing this guitar, my hand just glided over the frets which made it near effortless. I could almost swear it could play itself if it wanted to do so. Of course I couldn’t over look the inlay work, it’s just simply astonishing. I was expecting flaws with the inlay due to the price but it’s completely flush with the fret board. The choice of a mohagony body impressed me being how solid the wood is, it really brings a great tone to the guitar and nice sustain. I have been playing guitar for 25 years now and have gone through my share of different guitars. I own a couple of Strats, and an SG but the only one of mine that could compare even close to the satisfaction I have to this one is an old Fender Squire HM I have that I completely customized. I was seriously thinking about going through Carvin to buy a neck thru from them but I’m really glad that I changed my mind about that. The only downside to this guitar that I have is something that is my own personal preference. I don’t really care for the Seymour Duncan pickups that are on it simply because they do hum. So I’ll be changing them out with probably some hum cancelling pickups. Even with changing out the pickups there’s no way you can go wrong with the value and quality of this guitar. It definitely is a must have.

I got mine on a trade for my pv classic 50 a few months ago. Really looking for an s-series ibanez at the time, but figured what the hey. Overall impressed with the quality, very nice inlay too. Im guessing mine is an older model or the tuning pegs have been replaced, since it has grovers on it. Sustain is pretty good, but I'm basing that off my bolt-on neck guitars too. Only complaint is the cheap pup selector switch. The bridge position keeps popping out, for the price, it could have been a better piece. Overall great value.

Ok so i just bought this guitar and i am still learning. But a friend recommended this guitar and he is very knowledgable about them. so i bought it and it is freaking beautiful. Got a behringer GMX110 and it can do anything. thank you to all the other people who wrote reviews, you influenced my decision heavily.
