A heavy hitter and the perfect tool for laying down a deep crunch or a crystal clear solo. Its set-neck construction and string-thru bridge enhance the resonance and sustain of its mahogany body, and the 26-1/2 scale plus Seymour Duncan humbuckers give it a strong, crushing tone. The 5-way switch with split coil give you tons of tonal flexibility. Heavy string tension lets you really dig in. Black finish and black chrome hardware accented by multi-ply binding.

Go Away Gibson

Like another review said it's 25 1/2" scale and yes it sounds awsome. Great action with a neck thats not to thin. Grovers hold the tune and this machine will sustain like a $3000 guitar. I always thought Epiphone made the best bang for the buck but not any more. I don't know where Schecter came from and don't care I'm a loyal fan now. I know this kind of money isn't easy to come by but I swear people will think you spent ALOT more.

Bought this guitar at a sale to replace my vintage Les Paul (now in storage). I didn't think anything can take it's place after so many years, but after a few solo jam sessions this guitar is awesome!!! It feels great, sounds great and looks hot.

I was looking for an upgrade to my Ibanez GAX70 and came across the Schecter C-1 Blackjack in a pawn shop in mint condition I picked it up, got it home and plugged it in for a pleasant surprise. It's become a great friend to me and I've gigged with it a few times and hasn't failed me yet. The neck thru body and Seymour Duncan pickups are a great feature to this guitar along with the Grover Tuners.

Got this guitar to retire my vintage Gibson (and let it appreciate in peace) and after few days, I love it. The feel is different from my old LP (higher fret bars), but after few days I started to bond with this guitar and for sure it will be another keeper for the collection. Love the neck and the smooth transition allowing for all 24 frets to be used. The SD pick-ups sound great. Go and get one of these - you won't regret it.

This is one of the best guitars I've ever played. Even better considering the price you pay for it. You've got a lot of tonal options, and with distortion this thing can shred with the best of them. Fit and finish is excellent, and overall it feels like a very solid guitar.

My one complaint is the use of the dark pearl inlays (which I'm not a fan of) but other than that you couldn't ask for a better guitar.
