i got this shecter about a month or two ago and its been a pretty good guitar.when i first got it i loved it,but the more i layed it the less i liked it.first of all i dont like the bridge system on it.its a pain to change and tune strings.dont get me wrong its a great guitar its just not really MY kind.its got a slightly clunky neck making it hard to play faster songs too,i would much rather play my fender strat.

I've had this guitar for a little over a year now. Overall, it's a really good guitar for it's price. The next has a nice unfinished feeling and has isn't to thick but too thin. It's really easy to reach all the frets on this guitar and the humbuckers really bring out the notes clearly. Also, the licensed Floyd Rose Tremelo is great at keeping the guitar in tune and makes it more of a joy to play.

Ive always bought schecter guitars ever since i got my Schecter Exotic Star in Snow Leopard ...which they currently quit producing..this schecter was my 4th schecter i bought.

Features 4.5 -the reason not a 5...well as any guitarist would tell you.. Floyd rose is a pain in the ass to deal with....but thankfully this stay in tune very well after like 2 hours of gigging.

Quality 5 - its a schecter always a good choice :D..i mean schecter guitars arent US made but Korea made ones are (in my opinion) are just as good...but this particular C-1 is china made which really surprized me on sounding great.

Value 5 - best $ i ever spent..this guitar could of easily been a little more..but i also jewed them down to drop the price $50 bucks at my local store since ppl ALWAYS played on it.

Overall 5- if u want a awesome guitar with a good price and a floyd get this guitar....actually if u go with any schecter guitar..u really cant go wrong

this guitar is the best. ive played every other guitar out there and schecters just rock them all. the only reason i put a 4.5 on the features is bc at first i thought a floyd rose would be awesome but the novelty wore off bc if u rest ur hand on the bridge it does the whammy effect on accident and you can only use the whammy on whammy songs (lol). i want to trade it for a plain c1 or a stopbar schecter. you wont have any regrets with this guitar. its worth the money at least. its way better than any esp, ibanez, b.c. rich, ..... the only thing that can give it a run for skill, looks, workmanship, and bang for the buck is a gibson (which are good for metal surprisingly), a prs (very metal believe it or not but are also amazing for rock/ clean), or another schecter (VERY METAL! and also rock at other stuff including cleans.) buy it!!!! now. or forever be disappointed with ur bad guitar. peace!

E-mail me for any questions at all. ill get back to you

Pure awesomeness for the money

I bought this guitar for myself last December and I have yet to be disappointed. However, the pickups are TRASH. They have weak sustain and just sound awful. On the plus side, they are active so all the active hardware is already built in so its a quick and easy swap for somebody who knows what he/she is doing. I myself threw in a set of EMG 85s because I like the sound of the 85 in the bridge better for what I play. Overall, solid construction and stays in tune pretty well. I only have to adjust the fine tuners about once a week on weeks that I play heavily (4 to 5 hours a day). I prefer ESP but there are no local music stores that carry the brand and I will never buy a guitar without playing it first again.
