I bought this guitar used on craigs list and after I installed some emg's, it sang beautifully, the stock duncans distortion had a muddy thrashy feel; I'm more metal. The neck is nice and smooth as well, to the point where your flying all over it.

This guitar is awesome. I've come from a strictly Ibanez background, and this one has changed my perspective. I've had the bridge pickup changed out for an EMG 81 and its even better.

Tone is super heavy for metal heads, but it is versatile enough in higher tunings.

I'd definitely buy this guitar again if it got stolen!

This guitar is absolutely amazing, it can do it all. When I took it out of the box the quilt top (some models have a flamed top) was pretty good and the pearl inlay on the 12th fret was beautiful. I love the versatility with this guitar because of the coil tap. I'm runnin it through a couple boss pedals and my B-52 half stack and it sounds amazing, if your thinking about buying it, stop and just do it

First model 006 elite, 2001 made (I believe). This is a beautiful instrument, flame (tiger-stripe) maple top, black hardware, and stop-tail bridge are the differences between this and the newer model. All top quality hardware. It sounds amazing, has brilliant resonance and sustain through the mahogany body, moreso than other mahogany guitars I've played. Plugged in, it has a cutting edge sound for modern styles. The elite has a very fast neck and balanced body, it's a pleasure to play.

Beautiful finish. Careful to read the fine print. My 006 Elite came with a single coil in the neck and a humbucker in the bridge. The distortion is good if you want to play rock i.e Seether or Godsmack. If you want to play a heavier style i.e. Kreator or Morbid Angel you're going to need a pedal. Clean has very pristine sound. I was impressed. Overall for a beginner looking for an up-grade this is a fine instrument. I prefer the C-1 Plus.
