Great Amp

I have owned this amp for four years now and love it. I have played it at large venues and small venues using the provided DI and I have not had a single problem with feed back, DI noise, nothing. The little black handle on the bottom works great for kicking it back on stage to hear yourself saving stage monitors for use with the vocals. It has the best sound on the market for any one that likes acoustic guitar sound amplified. I have played bass through this amp and it sounds great as well! Buy this amp and you will never need to by another one.

The industry standard in acoustic sound

By far the best sounding acoustic amp on the market. It is a bit under powered, but the XLR out produce an accurate voicing of the sound through a good PA.

Okay at low volumes

I would recommend this amp to someone in a jazz combo or another very quiet group. NOT suitable for rock situations because it is too underpowered, does not sound very good through the direct outs (in fact, when you mute the amp, sound still goes out the DI!!!) and distorts quite easily. The sound quality is okay, reverb too sproingy for my tastes and I've since given the amp away. I advise the Rivera Sedona, even at its price point, ahead of any amp offered here at Musician's Friend.

Great little Acoustic amp

I have had many amps over the years, but this little Strawberry Blond is the best. I play a little electric now, but now, I mostly play my acoustics, and this amp makes them sound awesome. I play a Martin OMM, Ovation Balladeer, and a Maton. They all sound different, but this amp makes them all sound great. I also recommend the Blond on Blond extension speaker with this amp. Go stereo......Great amp....
