I bought one of these amps in 1972; I fell in love with it the moment I turned it on. Impecable tone, road worthy, and just absolutely awesome. It is clean, no noise whatsoever. This is one of the best amps for recording there is: lead guitar, piano, pedal steel. Stick any dynamic mic in your arsenal in front of it and prepare to be blown away. Mine is now 37 years olds and has never had anything done to it as far as maintenance. This amp was dropped off of the back of a truck while going down the interstate and all that it was scratch the housing. I would recommend anyone to buy this amp. Everyone else can have their marshall, line six, fender, and all other high priced amps. I would rather have my JC120

If you have a foot controlled amp modeler with fx (I have a Boss GT-8), You cannot beat this amp. If you are willing to spend time learning how to tweak your fx (the boss has a large learning curve) This amp will give you the sound that you want over ANY tube amp out there, in my opinion.

Gotta change the speakers if you want it to cook. Electro-Voice/Celestion. The price tag should not exceed Not a good all around amp like a LINE 6. For that amount of money spend more and get a Fender Twin. The Fender beats it hands down.

I Tried this amp at a music store after years of wanting to try it. It was well worth the wait. This amp Might be second in clean sound next to the Fender twin reverb, But I could be wrong. Distortion is not bad just not for me. Will most certinly buy amp.

So I was turned on to this amp because...

So I was turned on to this amp because my favorite guitarist Jade Puget (of AFI) once used it before switching to vox ac30s. If you have ever heard AFI you know that his tone is amazing live and in-studio.
Anyways, so I went down to a local music store that happened to have one so I had to give it a shot. I'll start with the pros:
-AMAZING, clear clean tone where every note punches through
-The chorus effect on this amp is simply unbeatable and is also very adjustable to fit your needs
-The amp is pretty loud and sounds good at a high or low volume.
My only complaint is that the "distortion" sucks. Oh well, strap a Tubescreamer in front of this and you have the perfect amp!
