This product is fantastic. I paired it up with a BOss GT-PRO, and an amp With midi as well.. It works very well, i don't program Midi foot controllers, i always program the device(s) instead.. With the GT-pro, i had to only program one thing on this pedal, and that was to make patch banks start at Zero (0), instead of one (1).. That was it.., it took about 20 minutes to choose what pedals i wnated per patch, in the global settings.. and i was done.. its labeled and i've jammed 30-40 times already with this pedal.. This is the best midi-pedal you can get until you spend about $1000.. Also look into the ground control as well, as that is easier to program the pedal itself.. I Chose this one purely because i love Roland products, and boss it a part of Roland, so its exactly what i needed for my boss GT... it did work very well with my Amp as well though!.. I'm the biggest noob in midi, and this pedal made it very easy for me. I purchased the FCB1010 first, and that was a peace of junk compared to this one..

Have owned this pedal for about 2 months - Have it matched with a Boss GT Pro rack unit. It took quite a bit of effort to figure out how it works because the manual is pure crap. The unit is rock solid and easy to work once you get the hag of it. Definitely worth the cost!

This works very well, is incredibly versatile and solid as a tank. Roland always seems to have trouble making a comprehensible manual. If you have any midi know-how, that shouldn't be too-much of a problem though. Other than that, no complaints.

The dual expression pedals are especially useful. I assign one for volume and the other for controlling various effect parameters. Switches feel robust and have never failed yet despite thousands of drunk tap-dances on them.

This is a great controller. I am running a Mesa head with a G-Force effect processer. It is wonderful to change the effect of the G-Force and the channel on the head with one press of a button. The only thing that I did not like is Roland did not include a power supply, it had to be bought separately.
