just got this amp this past week. WOW!!! It has so many features. i am confident you could make just about any acoustic guitar sound $2000.00 dollars more expensive than it already is. Has built in chorus(3 different types), reverb and delay. It has 2 independent channels, one strictly guitar and the other mic/line(2nd guitar).Xlr outputs, line in(cd/mp3), di out/tuner, recording outs and drum machine in. also has a tilt back stand and can be mounted on a tripod. It also comes with a nice padded carry case. i haven't seen any other amps out there that has this much to offer plus sounds amazing. I play a old fender short scale 000 style body guitar from 1982(Korean) with a Fishman Matrix Infinity installed. i can't believe the tone that i am now getting from this guitar. i highly recommend this amp!

First I bought the AC-60, and was quite impressed. As it is not quite as loud as I had wanted, it has become my "bedroom amp" and does a great job. The AC-90 is just as clean, with just a little extra punch for playing with others. And when the 90 doesn't cut it, out comes the JC-120...

Roland AC-90 Acoustic Amplfier

This acoustic amplifier is probably the best sounding one I've ever heard. It's extremely clear with absolutely no buzz or noise. The chorus and tone controls give you a lot of versatility for finding your preferred tone. The same holds true for the voice channel. I didn't notice any "dropping out" of the guitar when singing at the same time. Both channels are loud and clear. It's lightweight and portable and allows to be set on a speaker stand which is quite cool. All in all, I don't see how you're going to find a better sounding acousic amp. I have previously owned a SWR California Blonde and I believe that the Roland is much better sounding and a lot easier to carry around. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it's overpriced. It's just alot of money period. If you're willing to let go of the cash, you won't be disappointed with the performance of this amplifier. By the way, my guitar is a Taylor 914CE w/Elixir light strings.

Simply amazing is all I can say about this new amplifier from Roland. I recently played this amp in my local Guitar Center and I was amazed at the clarity and warmth. I played a Takamine, an Ibanez and a Taylor through this amp and all sounded wonderful. I have no complaints about this or any other Roland product for that matter. My advice to you, whomever you are, reading this is to buy this amp you will not be dissapointed.

I have been looking to replace my current amp with something lighter, but with a good clean sound. A friend recommended the Roland AC60, he said that he used to play one at church and it would fit my needs. While looking into this, I came across the AC90. The larger speakers and higher output seemed to fit my needs better than the AC60. I was truly impressed with the natural tones I got through this thing. The reverb is top notch. The chorus has three modes space, rich and wide. My only problem with the chorus is when it is on the space setting, if you slap down on the strings (such as in the song "More than Words") you get a hiccup sound from the chorus. This does not happen in the other two settings, so it is not a big issue for me. I am playing a 6 string Ovation and a 12 string Takamine though it. I would have given all fives on the review had it not been for the chorus issue, and no effects loop. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality sound in a lightweight box.
