Ive been playing guitar for over 4 years now, all electric, and ive never had as much fun playing guitar as i have with this one... Its an absolute joy to play... I mostly play fingerstyle, but i play with a pick every now and then, either way this guitar sounds great... And, this guitar has a better action, and plays better, than my Gibson SG or my Strat... i would definitely buy this guitar again if it ever broke...

Black paint comes off on my hands (from the fretboard!). A piece of the nut just flew off a few days ago. It occasionally makes 'cracking' noises. I don't care how cheap it is, it isn't worth it. I got this guitar for FREE (part of some promotion) and I had zero expectations. I was disappointed. You would be much better off buying a decent used guitar. Especially for beginners, this guitar will only frustrate. Below a certain level of quality, no price is cheap enough. You wind up with a dust-gathering wall-hanging. I've owned expensive guitars and cheap guitars. This one is the worst, even for the price.

I bought this guitar for my father for his birthday. He's just a beginner and tends to bang stuff up, so I didn't want to spend much on it. The guitar showed up about a week before his birthday and I must say it is a great little playing guitar! The sound is very rich - not tinny or cheap sounding at all. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is just starting out or wants a nice sounding acoustic kickaround for their living room. Believe me - you won't be disappointed!

This guitar plays great right out of the box. I tuned it and off I went.I have a 1964 B-25 Gibson and this guitar plays as good however it does'nt sound as good as the B-25. But for a few sets of strings I'm as happy as I can be.

Usually, when you buy a guitar, you could get a free set of strings. Not buy 8 sets of strings and get a free guitar. So I am thinking, how bad can it be for free. It is a great beginning guitar. Intonation is fine, tuners are fine, action a touch high, but all in all, wowsers. Another great deal by Musician's Friend.
