Can't beat the price...

As a somewhat casual guitar player, I bought this amp figuring it would serve my casual needs well. And it has. The clean channel, despite complaints, is good for you what you pay for. Its distortion is perfect for a punk/metal band. It has a hard time matching the classic rock/blues feel, though. And Unfortunately, it lacks in volume for a 50 watter. But, using the Rogue pedal, or if you have the cash, a Boss, it's a major steal. I highly recommend this amp for the casual, semi-serious guitar player. Keep in mind, I am a cheap guitar player (I still use my Squier Strat and Tele), and with these, it still produces a good sound that really doesn't sound cheap. If you could care less, stick with your practice amp, if you're in a band and want something to match your buddy's Fender 65W, pick this and a pedal up and it will serve you well.

I've used this amp and it was very loud and didnt seem to have any down sides i would buy this amp and would recomend it to anyone. My band is hardcore punk so we have to be loud and we had a gig and this is all we used and it was really loud and everyone wanted to know where i got it.

This amp is very cheap - in more ways than 1. As far as the quality, you are getting a great deal for the money. You pay a low price for an amp, your going to get a low quality amp. That is what this is. I would definatly recommend this amp for BEGINNERS. Other than that, I would suggest saving your money, there are many better amps out there. The clean sounds good, but the overdrive doesn't get loud at all. This definately puts enough sound to practice in your bedroom and make your parents mad..

I bought this a couple of months ago, thinking that I would be able to hear myself over the drums. Of course, this didn't happen. It is pretty loud to just play by yourself in a small room, but if you play with drums, this isn't for you.

I bought this amp looking for something with power. This amp has that, but not much more. the distortion channel is ok, but the gain control is useless. There is a gain control on the clean channel too, and like the distortion it is useless. the clean channel itself isn't very good with my ibanez, and the reverb really does nothing. It's more like a muddy rattling sound than actual reverb "presence" is just as useless It is a pretty sturdy amp, ok to sit on. There is a jack on the back, makign it easier to transfer the speakers to a different amp. I put these speakers on my crate, and it is good. Only buy if you want cheap power.
