The Vendetta VH160R Head is stereo with 80W RMS per side of pure power. 2 channel operation (clean and distortion) is provided with separate Master Volume controls for both channels. The Clean Channel features include Active EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) and Level Control (Master Clean Volume). The Distortion Channel features include 12AX7 Tube Distortion Engine (T.D.E.), and Active EQ (Bottom, Scoop-Mid Range Sweep, and Top).

The VH160R includes Rocktron's exclusive user adjustable AGX™ Gate Threshold (great for heavy percussive playing). This is an incredible noise reduction feature that will amaze you!

Another Rocktron exclusive: Global Amplifier Voicing with P.D.F. (Post Dynamic Filtering) allows global control over the amplifier's final EQ curve allowing you to dial in a perfect sound when performing in different venues. Trim-pot controls allow you to custom tailor your sound just the way you like it, including Reactance (low response resonance), Contour (Mid range definition), and Presence (Upper range limit).

The Vendetta VH160R includes stereo effects loop, left and right preamp output jacks and a headphone output jack, plus footswitchable reverb and built-in chromatic guitar tuner. You'll love the exclusive lighted Rocktron logo that looks awesome onstage!

I'm impressed with this amp. It's not very loud, but the sound is just so beautiful. One of the best distortion I ever had. Really sound like a tube one for a fraction of the price. The clean channel is also top notch. When I gig with it, some people come to ask me if it is a tube amp after my band's performance. A great cheap buy, if you want a high quality sound for gigs. Try it with a guitar with EMG's and a fixed bridge, you'll be blown away!

This is a pretty sweet head. It sounds really good clean or distorted. I like that it has a built in tuner and the rocktron logo lights up when you turn it on. I also like that the distortion doesnt get muddy when you turn it up. I wish there was a little more gain. But its a really good head deffinant buy.

Well! I have changed my mind. For over twenty years I have been solely a tube amp believer. I purchased this amp out of monetary restrictions shall we say as my british monster was in the shop with three hundred dollars worth of repair, then I had a twelve year old amp, you know the rest. Needed an amp for two four twelve speakers. With lots of power! I can not say that this has a whole lot of power but what I can say is WoW! Cranked up this baby is unmatched for tone, doesn't break up until you want it to. Combined with my Prophesy II good Lord. Stereo, tube pre-amp and pure tone. I am very pleased! It weighs as much as my British unit, and just as heavy in sound. Try this!!! the only thing you could hurt is your ears. And the paint on the walls. Unbelievable and very inexpensive what a great buy. I actually think another stack might show up on our stage. Good things come in pairs.....He He He!!!

I was simply looking for an inexpensive head with tube warmth and cut through and then... Rocktron came out with this. The one thing I really like is the sound is truly original and friggin loud as needed, especially playing in a death metal band! The only thing I would look for extra with this amp is more extreme gain, like that of the metal planet distortion petal.. Great Job Rocktron.
