The Vendetta V160R is a stereo combo amplifier with 80W RMS per side of pure power coming through two 12" Rocktron Custom Voiced Velocity Speakers. This awesome raw power gives you incredible sound! 2 channel operation (clean and distortion) is provided with separate Master Volume controls for both channels. The Clean Channel features include Active EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) and Level Control (Master Clean Volume). The Distortion Channel features include 12AX7 Tube Distortion Engine (T.D.E.), and Active EQ (Bottom, Scoop-Mid Range Sweep, and Top).

The V160R includes Rocktron's exclusive user adjustable AGX™ Gate Threshold (great for heavy percussive playing). This is an incredible noise reduction feature that will amaze you!

Another Rocktron exclusive: Global Amplifier Voicing with P.D.F. (Post Dynamic Filtering) allows global control over the amplifier's final EQ curve allowing you to dial in a perfect sound when performing in different venues. Trim-pot controls allow you to custom tailor your sound just the way you like it, including Reactance (low response resonance), Contour (Mid range definition), and Presence (Upper range limit).

This amp is truly the best investment i have ever made. Both the distortion and the clean channels are amazing and the tube preamp really adds to the tone. This amp sounds as good as my friends JCM 900. This amp has SPRING REVERB! The spring Reverb sounds great, not like the crappy digital reverb found in most of the cheaper amps.This amp makes any guitar sound good.

i got this amp about a week ago and its great. the tube distortion sounds great, its perfect for anything(classic rock to hardcore metal). you have extreme control over the sound of the distortion and the eq. the global eq is amazing for getting "your" sound. You'll be amazed at how well this amp sounds and how large it is! this amp could easily match up against many Mesa or Marshall amps, and beat many too! Overall a very good amp.

I own this model, and from my experience if you want to play a hardcore metal style this is NOT the amp for you. If you want to play a more alternative rock but not to loud this would be a good amp. I play a hardcore metal style and just the amp alone it is not very good. If you want this to sound half decent you have to throw on some distortion pedals or any type of pedal to get a goood sound out of it.

I'm only a weekend warrior, but I've researched and compared stereo combos and finally bought this one six months ago. It's warm, clean, and crunchy, with good l/r channel separation. Feature-wise, having an on-board tuner is always a plus, but castors would have been nice; it's a heavy beast for this old man, so I attached some myself. Overall, I think it would hold its own in any setting and I recommend it. Great price, too. Cheers!
