I've had some bad experience with many pedal and I've gotten some that were exactly what I expected. This is the first pedal that I bought that actually exceeded my expectations. My only complaint is that it has an overall 'tone' knob instead of being able to adjust say bass-mid-high tones. It does make it simple to use though and it gives off great sound especially for the price I paid for it. There are overdrive pedals with much more features and probably even better sound, but I WAS pleasantly surprised with this one and it IS worth the money.

Nice pedal, like the Maxon OD-808. Classic layout- volume, tone and drive. Not for metal-head shredders. I like the new two-knob Malmsteen overdrive also.
