I got this amp a while ago. The Distortion and reverd on it are very good for a little pratice amp. But if you are wanting to play clean....this isnt the amp for you. Great amp though just to pratice on would definitely not gig with it, but its great to fiddle on.

A decent little amp for the money!!

I bought this amp a little over 6 months ago as a practice amp. It has great Distortion and Reverb for the money and is is pretty load for a 20Watt. The overdrive can be a little too much for some styles of music as it still rounds really heavy even when turned down, sounds alot cleaner through headphones tho. It is also a great little recording amp for this reason. Overall i would recommend this amp for its sheer volume and distortion, and features for the money. Only bad points are reliablilty and I find its only really suited to heavier sounding guitar sounds.

I don't have an enormous amount of experience but I can tell you, this isn't really the best thing to start on. Just a tip, if you're a beginner and really want to play guitar and don't care about quality hear this: I was the same as you, don't do it. Really, just save up for something good even if it takes longer. I'm savin' for a Gibson Les Paul and a Marshal Slant Half Stack. Really you'd be making a mistake. I own it and I really wish I would have waited. It sounds muddy for what ever your doing and even when you're not playing it sounds like you're in a jet-plane. Really, and even though your reading this and think: bad shmadd "Thats only one review." Really listen to what I'm saying, if you don't believe me and really just think I'm doing something wrong, just try it at a music store. You'll thank me!

this is a good practice amp but the only problem with it is that you cant screw with it at all or else the overdrive will sound like crap when your not playing. but when you are playing it is a great amp for just practicing and it has good distortion for its size. so if your looking for a good amp that has a good sound and you just want it for practice than this is a good amp.

This is a good practice amp. Nice overdrive for it's size. Does everything a 20w amp should do. Overall does exactly what you pay for. Nothing more nothing less.
