A Great Deal

I bought the Senorita for my daughter, attracted by the visual qualities and the price. When it arrived, open strings buzzed due to action set too low, so I did have to raise the bridge. But that was all, and then it played quite nicely. And, surprise, surprise... intonation is great, and so is the sound. I own a Martin 000-15, a Takamine Sante Fe and a Les Paul Standard and an American Strat among other good guitars. For the price, this is a great deal. I was attracted by the look and the price, only to be pleasantly surprised by the playability and the sound. Get one while they last!

I have been playing guitar for almost 25 years. I have played just about every make and model to come along. So believe me when I say this guitar has a great sound. It is comparable to a Taylor 316, just a little quieter. A clear, wonderful projection. The body size is that of a standard classical. I was expecting it to be much smaller. I was thinking "wall art" when I ordered it. I never thought in my wildest dreams it would take a place in my guitar collection, but it has. My only complaint, if you can even call it that, is the tuners. They are too loose when you first tune the guitar. But it stays in tune after you get it there. The finish is impeccable! I am extremely impressed with this guitar and I believe you will be also.

Great Guitar for the price

I have been playing for over 25 years and own and play several high end guitars so take heed, buy one of these while you can! My Senorita guitar arrived yesterday and I was expecting it to be nothing more than a “different” looking piece of wall art hanging in my studio. I was wrong. For the price, this guitar is excellent. Out of the box it sounded pretty bad which was due to the factory installed heavy gauge electric strings, so I put some Martin bronze acoustic strings on it. It sounds great with a deep warm tone. It is a little quiet for an acoustic of this size…probably because of the plastic nut and all that paint but hey for $69 who could complain about that? I was expecting it to be a ¾ scale guitar like my Gretsch Sunrise Serenade and was at first surprised at the size.

The machine heads are cheap as one would expect but once tuned, they stay in tune pretty well. It may be worth buying some decent ones at some point but for now it’s just getting a little squirt of machine oil. As for the looks, I cannot decide whether it is beautiful or distastefully ugly…I think it may be both. I’m now considering forking out for the Rodeo Sweetheart…at that price you cannot go wrong. Go buy one, you will not regret it!

The Recording King Senorita guitar is really a decent little guitar. Visually it is off the charts in looks, it really does look like a painting with strings. Sound wise it is not bad at all, considering all of the paint on it. It is surprisingly well built. The perfect first guitar for someone for sure.
