Great cheap amp

I bought this to have a second smaller amp that I could stick in a corner of the living room and just do some jamming on. For an amp at this price, this is a great peice of gear. The clean channel sounds very good, I was impressed with the reverb and the delay is pretty good as well. The lead channel's distortion isn't that great to me but I really didn't expect it to be. I've paid much, much more for amps that I didn't care for the distortion on, that's why we have stompboxes/effects pedals, so that doesn't bother me at all. I haven't tried the tuner yet so I can't comment on that. If you're looking for an inexpensive amp, this is a good one.

This amp is Loud. Had a gig no mic in front of the amp. Audio Engineer in the performance turned it up to 7 and it got over our drummer. This thing is great for punk. I have had it on 4 during Practice and it is loud with 21Db reducing earplugs. Gets over the Loud drummers well It is rugged too. I would recommend it to others. For recording put a SM57 in front of this amp. The Clean Channel is very good also. That is used for video game music recording. I would recommend a foot switch if needed for extra effects.

I picked this amp up about a year ago when I broke my other one. To my surprise it sounds really good. The tone it gives you is great. I don't have to turn the volume up any further than about 1:00 and I'm loud enough to hang with the rest of the band. Plus it still has a good sound at high volumes.

The delay/reverb function is just okay. I don't really use it because I've got pedal that does a better job, but don't let that turn you away from this amp. It's a steal.

Also, for the people who said it doesn't produce very good "metal tones".. All I do is put the bass and treble up and set the Mid to zero and it sounds great.

This amp is pretty loud for the wattage. It seems to have a decent range of sounds. I use it with pedals, and get what I need. I use it mostly for rehearsal, but it's loud enough for a small gig. I have some big equipment and use it when I have to, but this is my go-to right now... I live in a wheel chair and I schlep my own gear... this fits across the knees, is light enough to lift easily, and has room inside for a couple of pedals, and a power bar. Good sound for the money. Loud enough to terrorize the neighbours!

this amp is great for some reason people say its not good for metal and the lead channel sucks i think this isnt true it sounds great when i play metallica this is an overall great amp.
