I am new to the Randall MTS series. It is the only amp that I had not owned up until now. I am coming off an 8 year Mesa streak, having owned 5 different rectifiers in that time, and also every other high gain head offered (Engl, 6505+, XXX, JSX, DSL, several different racks, etc). I have always come back to Mesa, but then I always go back out in search again. I chose the MTS series this time. I spend the most time on high gain channels normally, but I just can not stop playing this SL+ Module. Just as mentioned in the Randall ad, it covers everything from Zeppelin to Zakk Wylde. It sounds so great, tight and stays together well at high volume. Despite the fact that I am using 6l6 tubes in my RM100 head, this sounds undeniably Marshall. I will still colect all the high gain modules, but this one is a must have regardless of what type of music you play. Enjoy.

I actually got this module by mistake, they sent me this instead of the dual treadplate module but I decided to keep it since it sounded great. Overall I give it an A- simply because i enjoy my higher gain preamps a little more. But for a steady rhythm tone or classic rock lead its really everything a marshall is and so much more. This module single-handedly out-performs the entire Marshall mode-four and Tsl systems. Highly recommended and endorsed by HYNDRA.
