This amp is good but its not the best amp ever. Its got a great distorted tone and a great clean tone as well but you have to fiddle with the EQ to get the tone you want. The effects on it aren't much to brag about and really aren't worth fooling with because they all sound pretty much the same. But overall its a pretty good amp and it can get very loud.

i have heard many clips on youtube and i finally got the chance to try one. I tried it and it was one of the worst amps i have ever played. I would prefer the marshall mg series amps to this. This amp looks awesome, but the distortion is terrible. I spent 20 mins tweaking it and did not get a good sound. You can get a way better amp for this price. Go for a b-52 half stack. Much cheaper and sounds way better

This is a good amp. It has a really great clean tone. It's really loud. lol. I use the amp distortion cause it sounds great. I play my zakk wylde les paul through it and it just sounds wonderful. i dont use any pedals but the dunlop wah. but i just cant stress enough how good this amp sounds, if you like to play metal get it, if you dont like to play metal get it. its just good for everything. and its got wheels! =D

For some reason, every time I heard a guitar sound that I really liked, it was always a Randall. Michael Amott of Carcass, Dan Donegan of Disturbed, Kirk Hammett from Metallica, Dimmu Borgir's Galder... they all use Randall amps nowadays, and I LOVE their tone. I looked up a basic Randall half stack. $560; good price, but I was still thinking of buying the Marshall half stack instead sice I've been a lifelong Marshall fan. I trusted the reviews and I bought this one. I was totally amazed at the tone of this amp. It has an awesome clean channel, but the overdrive channel had a wierd tone that I couldn't get rid of. This is no problem if you like to use a distortion pedal, though... they usually sound better than a built in distortion. I reccomend the Boss Metal Zone; it's fantastic. This amp is totally made for metal. It is extremely loud (I bothered my family with the channel level on half and the master volume on halfway between zero and one) and almost literally roars with great tone. Great deal!!!
