I have owned this cab for about 6 months now and every time I play using it I am blown away. I am using a Peavey 6505+ head and the combo is unbelievable. I am playing 7 string so the 15 really adds a nice low end. the highs are still great. I am hopefully getting another 4x12 or 2x12 to finish my rig. I definitally recomend this cab.

I got this cab last week from this site. I use it with my Marshall JCM 900 SL-X 50W head with 5881 valves. I also use a Boss MT-2 metalzone pedal. All I can say is this: if you play extreme metal of any kind this is the cabinet you've been looking for. This thing sounds so sick it's really mindblowing. I'm going to get another one in May to complete the full stack. You get the best of both worlds...bottom end that you can feel all the way through your body and highs that cut right through. I would have a hard time being convinced there's a better cab out there especially considering the price of this beauty.

I use this cab with a Marshall JCM 900 and a Ibanenz tube screamer and it flat out just thumps. The 15" Eminence on the bottom gives such a low awesome sound, perfect for alot of drop tunings and active pick ups. Best bang for the buck feature in my opinion?

just what the doctor ordered! solid! i usually play through p.a. woofers to get that rip your head off sound, but i was still missing the highs for solos(plus they sounded weak). i took a chance on these randalls and i couldn't believe my ears. the sound was full of body yet very tight. my solos cut through the mix yet my rhythms can still stop your heart from beating. this really is the be all, end all cabinet. bravo!

If you're looking for something with more ability to handle the low-end - this will get the job done. This cab gets amazingly tight and deep bass response. I can't comment on the quality of the 50-80's versus the vintage 30's though.
