The Randall RH300G3Plus is a guitar amp head with a redesigned preamp circuit for more intensity and aggression. Randall took the high gain tone circuit of their flagship V2 and T2 amplifiers and installed it in each of their G3 Plus amps. What you get is higher professional-level tone and performance without the cost of a high-end amp.

Each G3 Plus amplifier includes the highly innovative and revolutionary Valve-Dynamic power section originally designed only for the Randall V2 and T2 amplifiers. The Valve-Dynamic power circuit includes a 12AT7 tube driving the hybrid power section for authentic power tube tone and compression.

The Randall RH300G3Plus amp head is perfect as a main gigging amp or as an ultra-reliable backup amplifier for the rock or metal guitarist who lives for tight gain and thick low end. The RH300G3Plus guitar amplifier also has plenty of power for any size gig and will more than hold its own against other high-gain heads.

This amp totally rocks.I have the original RH300. I played shows with it for 3 years with no problem. All the sudden, three years later, my effect loop volume started swelling then stopped working altogether. My tone started lacking as well. Maybee pre amp tube needs replacing maybee? I used an eq in effect loop with a reverb pedal and got an amazing sound so im really bummed about the effect loop. I really hope I can get this fixed.

So, I just got this head in today and I was very impressed. After a few minutes playing I dialed it into a sound that was pretty decent, and kept playing for another hour or so. I'm very picky about the sound of my amps so I was impressed with how quickly this came together... Anyhow, I have it hooked up to my p.o.s. Marshall HDFX cab, so i know it will sound better when I get the randall rh312xc cab. All the reviews I read say that the clean channel sucks, but i thought it was good. Nothing too flashy and fancy, just clean. But there are pedals for that. I gave it a 4.5 in the features catagory because its just your basic amp. Like I said, nothing flashy. In my opinion it gets the job done so what more could you ask for. It's 100% worth it, especially because of the price.

Well I bought this thing a while back, and had my problems with it, but I got them resolved real quickly. Replaced the tube with a groove gold series tube, and man is this thing mean. I play in drop B tune, and have these for settings, so try them out sometime and you will see what I see.

Clean: Low 2, Mid 6, High 8, Reverb 8, Boost switch IN, set to any volume you want.

Overdrive: Low 8, Mid 5, High 8, Sweep 4, Gain1 9, Gain2 0, Reverb 0, Voicing Off.

With these settings in play I pretty well guarantee you will love the heck outta this amp.

Well I bought this head about 5 months ago or maybe more, I can't remember. Within like the first hour and a half out of the box playing it, I managed to blow the power supply and a few other things. I figured the reason for that was cause i had to much power going through it, but that wasn't the case. Anyways I got it back from the shop, and replaced the one 12AT7 tube in it with a Groove tube, and WOW! does it ever sound mean. Both gain channels at perfect, and its loud as i need it to be heard over the drums and everything. I simply love this amp head, PERIOD!

First off, I have the original version of this amp, the standar RH300, not the plus series and all I can say is I love love love this head. I run it out through a high end, high price B-52 4x12 cab with an Ibanez 7 string and they all compliment together, I recently dialed it in to a great sound, I am more of a rhythm player so the crunch of this amp works well with me. You DO have to mess with the settings and such but this amp has a wide range of sound to choose from. I give this amp 5 stars and I would recommend it for anyone who's looking for big tone with heavier music with a smaller budget
