This pedal worked great. I have an old crate 50w valve combo amp, and I need to get some more distortion. Sense this pedal acts as a pre-amp, the distortion goes to my tubes and doesn't sound so electronic. Good pedal for blues and some metal.

This is a very rude little stomp box. In the same over the top fashion, it's powered by 6 AA batteries! The optional power jack is a 1/8" so get a Visual Sound 1/8" 1 Spot converter. I even hooked it up to a pair of head phones and played it. The only downside is the volume and distortion are one knob. It is also bigger than most single boss style pedals. Good for a range of styles.
