Dosent have a distortion setting?? It IS the ultimate distortion box for Pete sake. Yeah I wish it had reverb, chorus, delay and tremolo. It has a line plug on the back out now. Im not sure if the older ones had that. Ive seen some darn good harp players in bands blasting out of one of these mic'ed. For guitar it can be clean to blues dirty-nasty at the turn of the nose/knob. I saw a guy on Youtube trying to kill one with feedback. It is nicely built and has a vintage appeal. If you are jaming with acoustic friends it will give you a taste of clean volume and will dirty up for leads. And not blow everyone away. Ive had Cubes. I like this better for some reason. It is total "Pig"

I used my cousin's Pignose and I loved it. It gave me great tone, and high volume. I own a Marshall MS2 and the Marshall cant even compare. This amp is all about quality. The only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't have a distortion setting. That can be cured with a pedal. The simple one volume knob is really simple. Get this amp and you will love it.

I use this with a guitar with two volume knobs, one for each pickup. I turn the neck pickup volume down and leave the bridge at full blast. That way when using this amp, it sounds distorted with the bridge pickups and clean with the neck pickup. The amp changes its sound depending on if the case is closed or how much it is opened. If someone opens and closes it while you're playing, it sounds like a wah wah. Very cool little amp, runs on AA batteries, and can actually be pretty loud if you turn it up. There's more distortion dependin on how loud you make it.

I first heard about this amp in the movie "Crossroads". If you haven't seen it, you need to check it out! I've owned one for about 9 years. It's perfect for practices and low volume situations. It would be perfect to play lead lines over someone strumming an acoustic. This amp will never let you down as long as you have fresh batteries handy. The only fault I've found is with the AC adaptor. It causes a loud humming noise so I don't use it. IMHO, extra controls would only add to the cost and really aren't necessary. This amp is both rugged & versatile and really a great value. Dude, it's your hard earned $$$. For this price, you won't find a better small amp.

Geez, this little thing is crazy. I didn't know you could get so many different settings from just a volume knob and a hinged case. Pick it up today.
