Cool little bass amp.

I like pretty much everything about this amp except the hard plastic "legs" on the bottom. They should be rubber or soft polymer. Period. Hard plastic breaks, you knotheads! Easily. Change this aspect of the design.

I just got done using this thing, my uncle gave it to my sister as well as a guitar but she never plays so I sometimes use it for bass.

About three months ago, every plug(send, return, headphone, and charger) went completely dead with the battery running low. Suddenly yesterday it they started working again so we charged it.

Today I used it (with my bass) after normally using a 10W Behinger guitar amp.. This thing had alot better tone with the bass; serprisingly however, I could barely hear myself. My 10W Behinger gets more valume. (with headphones)

I think they used a 30W speaker, but not much more that a 15W head where as my 10W, they probably used a 20W head and a 10W speaker.

Overall this is a pretty good amp, it would be nice if it had an overdrive setting on it though.

This was a risky buy... I wasn't sure how the quality of the sound would be and thought it would be built cheaple, BOY WAS I WRONG! As a bassist I am extremely proud of the sound quality of this amp. The "funk" option realy helps out when your playing chilli peppers or any funk type of music. This amp is also built like a tank! The day i got this amp I charged it for the seven hours and have been playing it non-stop. The charge life is amazing... with hard playing it lasted a few days. The picture makes the amp look small but its not. The only bad thing I could say about this amp is, it's 28 pounds, and for portability thats a lot. The weight is worth it though... BUY IT!

The only Road Hog I Liked

I play at a small church on Sundays, and practice Tuesdays. I play mostly 5 string bass, but sometimes guitar or mandolin. The instruments may change, but this amp ALWAYS is the one to go on the road with me. It has plenty of volume for what I use it for. I especially like the duo volume knobs as opposed to some cheesie fake overdrive knob. I also like the Funk Bass switch. The thing I like is that it's a pure gigging road amp that has power to spare (over 8 hours). It even has jacks in the back for pedals (those things you use for overdrive). I love this amp!!! I call it my Road Hog. It's the only road hog I ever liked.

My uncle gave this amp to my sister when he put her in guitar lessons. She grew tired of it but I got into bass. This was the amp I used for quite a long time. It is overall really good. I only stopped using it because I got anouther amp with overdrive, and it produces a much crisper bass sound. Even still, I use this one from time to time.
