The Board of Choice

Without a doubt, this is the petalboard to buy. The design is almost flawless and the case is flawless. I had the smaller PT2 but ran out of room and upgraded to the Pro. I'm running 2 Dunop DC Bricks zip-tied underneath the top rail and it works out perfectly. Honestly, I can't praise this product enough; and believe me, I'm about as picky as you can get when it comes to guitar gear. Climb aboard this train and you'll get your stomp on in style.

Perfect for studio players, church...

Perfect for studio players, church musicians, or traveling guitar players who have to set up and tear down 2-3 times a week. Even though my board isn't totally full, i've easily saved 20 minutes of setup time.

The roadcase alone is worth the money and it's practically bulletproof. Once you've got all your gear inside, it's heavy... Built in wheels and recessed spring loaded handles take (most) of the pain out of lugging it around.

A wise investment for any player who's interested in protection, setup time or organization. A seriously well made product.

Solid Like A Rock!

The PT-Pro is well crafted from aluminum alloy and nicely angled. The board comes with 2-brackets and 4-screws to mount (1) Voodoo Power Supply unit (using a drill) to the underbelly of the frame. There’s ample room for (2) power supplies but you’ll need to call Pedaltrain to get a 2nd bracket. This is a great board for those looking to have the option of selecting their choice of power supply.

Pedals are fastened to the board using the ample supply of Velcro stripping that fits perfectly across the ribbed frame. Two of my pedals had warranty stickers on the bottom plates, but there was room to place Velcro strips above and below the stickers without any problems.

The hardshell case will probably exceed all but the serious pro’s expectations. There are spring loaded handles and the latches can be locked using optional padlocks.

Forget about purchasing a SKB SKB-PS-55 or a Furman SPB-8C. Pedaltrain’s PT-Pro is the much better board hands down. Pricey but well worth the investment!

Massive

I've been playing for quite some time and this is my first pedalboard. I got tired of running through 9v batteries and decided on a full on setup. The pics don't do this thing justice. The hard case has casters on it that work quite well as they are definitely needed since this thing weighs almost 40lbs without any gear mounted. Side compartment inside stows away spare cables, strings or whatever you need with ease. Hardware is included in the case to mount the voodoo labs Power+ 2 power supply with instructions although a couple of 1/8" holes need to be drilled on the bottom side reserving the top side for pedals. Again, this thing is massive, I have a ground control pro, rotovibe, wah, volume control expression pedal, 3 normal sized pedals and a dd-20 double sized pedal all mounted up with ease. Enough double sided velcro is provided to cover the entire board as well as zip ties. I wired the entire thing up with the CoreX wiring kits and it's flawless. Pick this up along with some of the zip tie Mounts for the bottom side and you'll be set. I would definitely buy this again...although it's solid enough I doubt I'll ever have too!!

the most practical pedal board i've ever used

If your thinking about getting a pedal train pedal board, take my word for it that you will not be dissapointed. I've seen board after board and have owned a couple myself and pedal train is by far the best and most practical. Most pedal boards' velcro starts getting loose and not working that well after pulling pedals on and off constantly. but pedal train has some really good stuff! you could tip your loaded board upside down and shake it as hard as you can and your pedals won't come off! and you can take your pedals off and on as much as you want and it won't effect the velcro at all. plus the spaces between each bar are very practical to put extra chord underneath so your board looks neat and nice. it also goes at the perfect angle so it's easier to step on your pedals. i will warn you...the flight case is MUCH bigger than the board and pretty stinkin heavy once your board is loaded so unless you are constantly on the road i definitely recommend the pt-pro SC (soft case). much lighter, easier to carry around, and most importantly...way less expensive! i recommend getting the pro instead of a smaller one because if you don't have many pedals, then you'll have a very nice looking, organized board and there will always be room to fill. try it out...you'll see.
