Featuring 24 amp channel models-both the clean and distorted channels of 12 popular amps for the first time anywhere-plus 11 editable preamp "stomp box" effects and 11 editable post-amp "rack" effects with dual-parameter control. Players can use up to five effects simultaneously. When used with the optional Peavey Sanpera foot controller, the possibilities further expand from 12 in-amp presets to 400 programmable presets, with an on-board looper and more. The VYPYR also acts as its own computer audio interface, with a built-in studio-quality USB 2.0 output on most models that is recognized by computers as an audio device. The entire six-model VYPYR Series features the easy-to-use Peavey WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) interface.

This thing is AWSOMELY SWEET!!! You can do anything you want with this amp, especially if it's yours but that's not the point! I've done many cool things with this amp, like edited the effects, that is what I consider AWSOME!

And when you don't think that the best can get better, well, it CAN! When you buy the sanpera II guitar footswitch everything just changes, ESPECIALLY with the 20 foot cord you get with your purchase; so you don't have go to the amp every time you change the effect. PLUS, you get the looper, master volume, wah pedal, and and LCD screen with a built in tuner! How cool is that! Also included are 412 presets!!!

Oh, by the way, I wouldn't recommend turning this amp over 3, that is unless your playing in front of about 300 people, then MAYBE, but NOT when you're standing right NEXT TO IT!!!

I have a jsx now for a year or so i also had peavey amps dating back to the renoun 400 days (83 or so)and i will tell ya the vyper120 can do whatever your ear wants and loud as can be even with out adding two more 12s ... but when ya do ... nothing you cant do, sound and vol wise . The v120 rolls with impunity ... done !

This amp is the best amp you will EVER have, especially if you get the sanpera II pedal with your purchase!!! You can check out my review for it, just look at the name. With at least 100 combinations for effects, this amp rocks the stage, and you can edit the effects, which is AWSOMELY MERATICAL DUDE!!! Also, this thing is LOUD, I've never heard it over 3; but get the MB-53 instrument mic you don't NEED to turn it over 3!!!!!!

If you don't get this amp, you must not be a thinking person. It has everything you need to rock live and it's plenty loud! I love this amp and have been having a ball with it, not to mention now I don't have to carry all my pedals to the gig and get crud all over them. I think it sounds great and it's probably a better clean amp than you would ever think. You won't be sorry if you buy this amp!!
