I fell in love with this amp the minute I turned it on, its fun, its flexible, and its really really durible. I've had this amp about 6 months and it has never dissapionted me. The sound quallity is good, the effects are beutiful, and its really really really loud. I highly recommend this amp to anyone that plays guitar, it will not dissapiont. About the duibility,(I've dropped it flat on the side with the speaker and all the volume knobs and its fine). BUY THIS AMP!

About a year ago,I bought a Fender Affinity Series Frontman 15G starter pack. The 15G wasn't bad (which I realised AFTER I bought this), but this thing is awesome!It's loaded with effects! The fuzz is great for rock. There's probably a good setting on there for everything except jazz,probably,but I don't know how well a Strat goes with jazz anyhow.You can get classic rock tones, alternative rock tones, country tones bluesy tones,whatever! And the price on the thing? Out of this world for something like this! I got the 30 watt because it has the "stompbox" knob, unlike the 15 watt, and it's more useful to me than the regular effects knob. However, the power switch seems sort of flimsy,it's a lot quieter clean with no effects(having the reverb turned up fixes that,though),and some effects are louder than others, so you have to adjust your playing volume sometimes. But,all in all,it's a good amp if you like tons of effects!

The Vypyr has TONS of features, with all of the stompboxes, effects, and modeled amp tones. The thing about the amp though, is that it doesnt do all of the modeled amps well, but it doesn't do them poorly. You have a wide variety to choose from so I'm sure "most" people can get a sound they like out of this...I am just a tone freak. I am looking for a specific sound and I haven't found it from the Vypyr or the Line 6 Spider III I used to have. I just bought a Roland Cube 30x, its coming in the mail this Wednesday. After doing plenty of research I think the Roland might just pull it off and give me that sound that I want.

I hardly ever write a review but this amp diserves a good review. I put off getting this amp for a long time because I wasn't sure if it was the amp that I was looking for. Well it is!!! I have a 45 watt peavey Envoy and this 30 watt blows that one away! I can't turn it past 3 or it hurts my ears!!! I can't say enough about this amp!!!

This amp is great. Ive had for about a year and it still suprises me what it can do. It never has any problems and is very loud for a 30 wat.
