This is a great accessory if you have a vypyr amp, ESPECIALLY TUBE! This has TWO expression pedals, a master volume pedal which when you press down hard on the toe it switches over to the TUNER; and the other a WAH PEDAL! This footswitch also has designated LOOPER CONTROLS, unlike the sanpera I. It also gives you more banks for your OWN effects. Along with over FOUR HUNDRED (400) PRESETS (effects)!!! You can basically access EVERYTHING on your amp from this pedal!!!!

This pedal is a great accessory for vypyr amps, it has designated looper controls, two expression pedals (one for volume and one for a wah pedal), and EVEN A BUILT IN TUNER, even though you have to have the volume at a certain pitch, then you can tune almost PERFECTLY!!! Along with this, it gives you extra preset banks, so you can make EVEN MORE of your own effects! I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone who has a vypyr amp!!!

The Sanpera II footswitch for the Peavey Vypyr Series Amp is a must have if you own a Vypyr amp. My son and I have both the 15, and the 30 watt Vypyr amp. The smaller 15 watt amp doesn't accept the pedal plug connection, but the 30 watt and higher powered amps will. This foot switch really allows you to access all the features of the Vypyr series. The sounds you can adjust with this pedal is incredible. The instruction booklet is simple to read and user friendly. In a matter of a few minutes plugged into it, you can figure it out and start jamming. For multiple sound effects needed for different parts in a song you can program them into the pedal and just step on the buttons to get the effects needed. You can also remove parts of the effect too if you want, with a step on a button. All the step buttons are clearly marked. The lighted view window is easy to see and understand. The pedal is rugged and durable. It Has a 25' heavy duty cord so you can place it out in front of the amp. Peavey really did a great job when they developed this pedal to work with their amps. I have had this pedal for several weeks now and can't find any flaws, or any funny quirks. I am very happy with the Sanpera II Foot switch.

I just purchased the Sanpeara II footswitch a few days ago. It is built pretty well, although they did go a bit cheap on the switches. They make quite a bit of noise, and are pretty hard to push. Also, the wah pedal leaves a little to desire. Doesn't have the best wah sound. I have had a few problems with the footswitch freezing up on me when I'm trying to program in names for my presets, and the only remedy has been to turn off the amp and re-power it up. It may just be a firmware issue that Peavey needs to fix, since this is a pretty new product. Overall this is a good footswitch and really enhances the vypyr amplifier. A few things could use work, but overall I'm satisfied, and this amp/footswitch combo should work well for what I need.

This is a must have with the vypyr series of amps. The switchability is all doable from the board, once you have your presets programmed there is very little you cant do from this. Switching rack and stompbox effects from the board inside the presets, as well as switching presets and levels, onboard volume, tuner, wah and pitch shifter control, as well as looper control on the board, definately a must have. Only complaint is the expression pedals seem kind of flimsy compared to my cry baby and the morley's I've played with, and the documentation is very limited, as with the amp. Call me old fashioned, but I like a manual that is pretty detailed.
