Great little amp

I got this guitar a few weeks ago and liked the features that it has. I took it to do a show at the bar where I live and plugged my Fender into it and was amazed with the sound that came out of it. There was many other musicians there and they all asked if they could play their guitar through it. Everyone that used it that night said it was one of the best they have used for an accoustic guitar. I highly recommend this amp.

I sat down at my favourite music store and tried out all the best acoustic amps there were on my Takamine EAN15CX.(Genz Benz Shenondoah, Fender DSP)This one blew them both away. It wasn't till I got home and hooked in my Samson condensor mic that I realized what a buy I got. This amp has the BEST acoustics!! Just for fun I hooked up an electric guitar and effects pedal and it will blow the walls down with sound and clarity (even with distortion effects) Overall this is the best equipment I bought.

I have used a lot of amps and have a few; but I rate this the best overall. If you are not trying a solid body through this you are missing it! I am playing Fender Nashville deluxe and PWR Telecasters and it is great.

I shopped a lot of different acoustic amps and this was the one I chose. It has a beautiful clean and clear sound that you can adjust to your own liking. I love the fact that it has seperate effects for both the instrument and mic channel. I like to run a drum/bass machine through the AUX IN and have the mic and guitar hooked up at the same time. The 12" speaker handles all the different frequency ranges great. I also play a harmonica through my Shure SM58 mic with a little bit of reverb and it rocks. The seperate volume control for the horn allows you to fine tune your tone. Overall, it was more than I wanted to pay, but the built in effects saved me some money and I would not trade it for anything. This is a must have for single singer/songwriters.

I bought this amp to replace a Crate 60 watt acoustic amp. With the purchase of an Alvarez shallow body my Crate, a nice amp, no longer provided the needed low end. The Ecoustic is a nice amp with plenty of low end, and the EQ is a nice touch. The only downside to the amp is its weight (heavy) and the chorus is not as nice as my Crate. Don't expect a lot of out the free Jack Daniels guitar. Nice neck and tuning keys, but no pre-amp EQ, and unless the strings are cheap, it doesn't have much low end. Putting some better strings on it may improve the sound. Nice guitar to play around the house, but you wouldn't want to play out with it.
