I've had my Parker Nitefly Mojo (in natural finish) for more 6 months and I've got to say, it is a GREAT guitar. I used to own a bit of a banged up guitar, then I upgraded to something that is truly amazing. First of all I'd like to say that this is the type of guitar that you work with rather than against; straight out of the box it was in perfect tune and intonation, the action can be set as low as possible without buzzing, the locking tuners are great, and the bridge is pretty amazing. Moving on to the sound, the sound of this guitar is nothing short of great; switch on the bridge pick-up and you've got some killer metal sounds, to a trebly (not to trebly) blues sounds, or to the middle selection where you get a nice scooped tone, or to the Seymour Duncan Jazz at the neck, and get a very warm creamy lead tone. And to double the possibilities, you can just split the coils! The Piezo pickup sounds as pretty as an acoustic and gives you the option to switch to an acoustic sound mid-song with out changing a thing. The neck is very good for sliding to the higher register fast, and wide enough for massive bends. I've used it for funk, rock, metal, blues, and jazz, for both lead and rhythm, and it has yet to fail me. I have it going right through a Randall MTS 112, and it sounds great, and if I wanted to upgrade, I'd most likely go for the Parker Fly Mojo.

Worth THREE guitars!

I have owned this guitar about six months now and this guitar is the most versatile arrow in my quiver. It does Strat tones, Tele tones, almost Les Paul tones and beautiful piezo/acoustic tones. You'd have to carry at least three guitars to the gig to get all these tones. The neck nearly plays itself, and IMHO outshines the variety of tones the guitar offers. The tremolo isn't Floyd-able (nor was it designed to replace a double-locker) but it stays in tune better than a Strat. What stinks is how hard it is to go back to a one-tone guitar through one amp. You'll never want to play a "plain" clean amp setup again! This guitar probably doesn't have enough raw guts to do DeathCore metal, but it can beautifully do just about anything you throw at it. Remember to leave budget money to buy an acoustic amp. Only other downside? Sustain is a bit lacking compared to a non-chambered Les Paul. This baby will not dissappoint!

It's the best in my opinion

I've played Hagstroms since 64 and never thought I would find a better neck on a guitar, until I got my Parker. You have to hold one to understand this fact. And the range of sounds are beyond any other. You have two humbuckers to start with, pull the coil tap and you in a different world of sound. Flip the switch down to the Piezo and you have an acoustic that rivals my Martin. Then goo the the middle position and blend the Piezo with the Humbuckers with or without the coil tap and you get sounds no other guitar can offer you. Add in the amp of your choice and a few stomp boxes there is no sound you can't achieve. But like all instruments and amps and boxes it's the imagination and ability of the player that defines what comes out of the speakers. Parker pays attention to creating great guitars. As to the people that slam them for what ever erason, I say this, any company can have one that slips through the quality control, That's why you have a warranty and Parker will make right what ever flaw you find. The rest is up to you. I love these guitars and if I could afford it I would but the whole line. I like old 60's to 70's rock, good blues, and a bit of bluegrass now and then, even some heavy metal when I can turn it up all the way without having someone call 911. Play this Guitar, run it through the right amp for your preferred style, add a stomp box or two if you must, AND then experiment with all the possible settings this Axe offers and you WILL fall in love. Mine has such a perfect piece of tone wood for the body that I often just play it unplugged just to feel the sound resonating through the wood right into my body. Like I said you have to hold one, play it, to understand just how far beyond the normal they really are.

This was my fifth Parker guitar, after 3 decades of Fender, Ibanez, & Gibson. There is no comparison. I bought the Mojo because it not only offers the greatest dollar value, but it actually makes me a better player. It's well-made enough that I can just PLAY it without worrying about adjusting this or that. All my other guitars are on eBay. It's just that good.

Nitefly Mojo is outstanding value

The Nitefly Mojo was set up well right out of the box; I barely had to tune it! The neck is wide and glassy smooth. It is very easy to play. Once you pick it up you can't put it down, you just want to keep playing. It's light, extremely well made, and the natural mahogany is beautiful. The only criticism I could offer is that the mag volume knob gets in the way. Best guitar I've played.
