I bought the PRS SE Standard in Vintage Mahag. Trem. When I ordered this guitar I was expecting it to be of very good quality being what it is and after doing some research. Needless to say, my expectations were far exceeded. This guitar is of the highest quality. It is a beautiful, solid, piece of wood with incredible sustain. The bridge pick-up scream and the neck pick-up has that perfect smooth, mellow tone. They both sound very well balanced. Even the tuners (which should be replaced with locking ones, due to the tremolo) are excellent. There was no need for adjustments as it was set up perfectly and just slightly out of tune. I need to save up for a top-line PRS. If this SE is that good...I can't imagine what the best PRS is like. The gig bag that comes with it is also very nice. It's the best gig bag I have seen. Very well padded. Lot's of room to store extras.

Worth EVERY PENNY!!!

I have had this guitar for about a month now and it's worth every penny I paid and then some! The “wide-fat” carve on the mahogany set-neck was the first thing that got me, it gives my big hand plenty of space to move and my chord work has become so much better. The solid mahogany body along with the stop-tail bridge allow for some unbelievable sustain for a guitar in this price range. The frets are finished nicely and the rosewood Fretboard perfect, making for some truly smooth playing. Everyday I think about how great it is to own a guitar of such high quality and good looks and I appreciate PRS putting it within reach of the average players wallet. If it were damaged or destroyed I would replace it as fast as I could with one just like it, this instrument is truly a “workingman’s guitar” Thanks PRS!

I've been dreaming of owning a Paul Reed Smith, but money wise the kind I want is pretty pricey. So value wise after getting to play this, its worth every cent. Its a blast to play, and it still has the classic PRS look. I bought mine with the Flat Black, and I really love the look in general. Its one thing to look good, but the sound compared to my other guitar(Washburn WI14) shows the huge gap between a Washburn and a PRS. On top of the guitar you get a great gigbag, which has a nice area to store strings and a lot of other cargo pockets in the front. Its a great value, and its easily the best guitar I now own.

When i first got this guitar i was KIND OF digging it. I switched the stock pick ups, which werent bad for stocks,But i switched them to Emg 81 on bridge And 60 on the neck. The guitar is great. The only problems i had was ...the thrust rod was set horrible,I fixed that problem my self.the 2nd problem i had was,the tuners kept getting out of tune.Im bound to fix that very soon with the actual Lock tuners.Over all i love it.Its a great guitar.

I received the guitar for xmas and its the best gift I've ever gotten. It's beautiful looking, light and has a tone fit for anything. I've played everything from John Mayer to Slipknot on it and it never lets me down. Great action and the neck plays like a dream. Stays in tune very well, too. For the money, and the quality...u can't pass it up
