Experience w/product: I own it
Reviewer's Background: relative newcomer
Reviewer's Play Style: blues
I played loudly and poorly some 45 years ago and had not touched a guitar since selling by Gibson ES330TD in about 1968 or so. Now that I am retired, I thought that maybe being more mature might mean that I would actually learn to play. I looked at a few options, and my local store steered me to this PRS KL 1812 because it was one of the rarer production models...sunburst finish and 57/08's from the factory. With the rebate program, it was just too good a deal to pass up. And...what a tremendous instrument. Very easy to play..I can even make recognizable tunes now :) Physically beautiful, lovely tone....easy to play ...there is nothing not to like.

Reviewer's Play Style: jazz, jam band, rock, blues
I've been playing for almost twenty years and I've gone through several guitars, including a Gibson ES-336, PRS custom 24, PRS McCarty and fender roadhouse strat and this guitar takes the cake, it's made me excited about playing again, the action is great, the controls are easy to reach, I can get all kinds of tones out of it and most importantly it's just fun to play
