Great Product

I didn't expect this kind of quality from a Korean guitar. The main thing preventing me from purchasing an American single cut is the satisfaction I have with this much less expensive guitar. I've compared to the US equivalent and the SE holds up very well. Sure the US pickups and tuners are better, but build quality and playability are very close. You can't beat it for the price.

Best Guitar for the money, bar none

I have owned an '86 PRS for 21 years and recently bought both the Custom 24 (wine red) and this SC with tremolo. I can assure anyone that these guitars meet the high standards of PRS for the money. Admittedly the tuners could be better, but changing them to your preference is a simple $40 to $50 fix. Some like manual twist-type locking tuners but I highly recommend the Grovers as they are very close to the original PRS auto-locks. The only other thing I personally prefer is a HS case rather than the bag. I'd also suggest that for ANY guitar, you spend $15 for Dunlop Strap-Loks or something similar to insure your strap stays ON the axe and ON your shoulder. Get this guitar into your arsenal and you may end up with dust on all your others. You can't ask for any axe better at this price. Top stars overall !!!

I've owned the guitar for about 9 months now and believe me, i've used it to the extreme, whether constant practice or preforming. It hasn't let me down yet. It may go out of tune every now and then, but the action remains great, the feel is amazing, the sound is flawless. Overall i have no complaints. It's a great guitar for intermeadiates as well as professionals. Trust me, when you buy it you'll love it, and you won't have that worry in your stomach that you just wasted your hard-earned money on something less than worthy.

If you change the tuners, this guitar is just perfekt. I tried one in my local musicstore were the tuners were changed to the expensive onces. Loved it. So nice. Buy this guitar, and change the tuners. Then you wont go wrong!

Pickups, great, really hot, neck, really smooth. Not an ibanez, but really thick neck that just holds. I didnt use tremolo, I aint much a tremolo guy. but still, very nice guitar!

Solid Guitar, a few minor, easily fixable items

ok, having it for a few months now: great sound, great tone and susatin. Neck is thicker than im used to, that actually helps its playability due to wider string spacing. You have to tighten the screws on this guitar, and change strings and set intonation. also, the tuning pegs do slip a bit, so im upgrading them to schaller locking tuners. i also had to upgrade the cosmetics- change the pickup housings and switch to BLACK- Looks AWESOME in black. lightweight, cool look, great sound, easy to play, low price = great guitar.
