The best guitar I've ever played.

I have played many years. When I was young,*( 16-19) I played in a band. Local country, western, and a little Bob Seiger thrown, with Creedance. I played a Fender Telecaster. Later bought a Gibson Les Paul Orginial, now remember this was in the late 60's, early 70's, and I loved those guitars. AT 56, I don't even recall what I did with them, but I've always regretted selling them? Anyway, at this age I decided to buy a Fender American Deluxe, and then I asked them what they recommended? Was told to buy this Paul Reed. This is the most awesome playing, sounding guitar I've ever held in my hands. I sold a Taylor acoustic/electric 610CE and Peavey AMP and bought this guitar, and I play it constantly. The Fender just sits. SO if you ever have an opportuntiy to purchase a class guitar, I highly recommend this one. It is perfect right out of it's case. Stays in tune, and is just incredible to play.

FANTASTIC AXE

Lets just say that if you want a guitar that plays great, sounds great, looks great, feels great, then this is your choice. The weight is distributed very well. The single coils sound like a strat, and the buckers have that great fat tone. Its like having both a strat and a les paul at the same time. The neck is fast and feels good. The bird inlays are not solid. Apparently from what PRS told me- that in 2008 they went to an outline for the birds rather than a solid fill. They still look nice but if I had my choice I would have wanted the solid birds. The pickups sound great and you can get some great tones out of them. I love being able to switch them from coil to hum with a flick of a switch. I don't think you can go wrong with this guitar for most types of music. I have the vintage orange and it looks as great as it sounds. Buy it before the price goes up-which you know it well. You won't regret it.

It's a classic feel. I love this guitar. You can't beat the price for what you get. A fantastic guitar with a great sound and perfect playability. I don't think I'll be straying from my PRS anytime soon. Sounds great with my VOX Ac15CC, both great deals.

Everything I need in a guitar

I own a Les Paul, but was looking for a new guitar with a little more "bite". The Mira has the ability to split the coils with a switch. It has a broad array of tones that spans from the single coil bite and clarity to the warm tone of a humbucker. The Mira is lightweight and balanced, but still has great sustain. The action is a dream. I tried other more expensive PRS and liked the Mira the best. The quality of the guitar is outstanding, and seems value priced in my opinion for an USA guitar that is so well made. The only gripe is that the guitar needed some truss rod adjustment out of the box. This may have been due to humidity / weather changes after it left the factory. That is the only reason I didn't give it a 5 for quality. I would highly recommend giving the Mira a try before buying a new guitar.
