This was an insurance replacement for...

This was an insurance replacement for my Gibson RD77 Artist. The factory setup left a lot to be desired and cost a far amount to correct. The tone is very mid-rangy and honky. The ouput of the pickups are not equal from humbucker to single coil. If you are going to spend this kind of money get a Gibson or Fender.

great playing guitar, bridge pickup sounds awesome , neck pickup sounds good but sounds a little thin (maybe because of the maple neck) killer action, don't care for the rotary switch but that is easily replaceable. I have 15 guitars, and I would have to say overall that this is my favorite. If only they made one with a floyd rose!

I own a Custom 24, and I honestly am not a big fan of archtop guitars. But I am a fan of PRS. A friend got me this guitar as a wedding present, and right after I played it for the first time through my Marshall Vintage Modern, I knew it could do me no wrong. Just like any other PRS, it sings and gives you tone that is amazing. It is by far the most versatile guitar I have ever played to date. PRS forever

One Great Guitar

This is my 4th CE...having lost the other autographed ones to an ex fiancee. The CE24 is great for all around playing...it is not a Gibson sound, or a Fender sound..which is great. It gives me my own sound that is in familiar territory, without being a clone of already famous tones. I used Jackson Phil Collens and teles before this, and I actually sold the Jacksons. The trem is gorgeous, the 5 way roto switch is brilliant. The neck is worn great and smooth, and ten I find out mine is a special finish unreleased on any other PRS...way cool. I ave a relationship with PRS since my Line6 days, where i was a clinician, and customer support is superb. I could not reccommend a better guitar for live or studio work. Period. Thanks Paul...for ruining my love affair with Jackson. Also, check out the Soapbar models, including the SE...I just bought one for the P 90's...I am now a PRS user! Ok I still have a tele, just cause there is a cool vibe to owning a tele...but the PRS can chicken pick too...now if I can find a Custom Soapbar 22, life would be complete...ALSO....be sure to check out all the SE stuff....the SE Custom is a beast in it's own right!

This guitar will make you famous

The density of the maple body makes for great resonance. My model has the hfs pickups as opposed to the dragons, it gives more of a metal edge. This guitar will make you want to play more. The design and aesthetic looks of PRS are unbeatable. From heavy to clean, low end tuning, everything. My PRS has definitely made me a better player. The jumbo frets make for great chord changing, and the neck plays really fast. This guitar has also furthered my personal style. I think I will only play PRS's for a long time. Also because they are American made, they will lose value in the short run, but after 10-15 years, the wood will change characteristics, ultimately making it sound better, thus increasing its value. Investment guitar. You can go on you tube and look up PRS factory tours and interviews with Paul himself. Bottom line: buy this instrument.
