I've been playing on and off for 12 years, and played & owned a lot of guitars. I've owned the costume 22 for 4-5 years. This guitar is so pretty, I still get that new guitar exitment every time I open the case. the action is perfect, I can hit every note w/o a buzz if I look at it hard enough. The tone and sustain are unmatched. This guitar matched with elixir strings is unbeatable. Neck through body is always a plus in my book. It's very light weight so you can play all night. The only thing someone may not like is that the neck, although easy to play, is a little wide, making a stretch to play those 5 finered chords. If you a true long term instumentalist, the investment is well worth it. I still use my strat, but the custom 22 is my baby. I my get somthing from the custom shop, but we'll see how long i have to save up.
