Bought this as an all purpose gig bag to shuttle my guitars back and forth. What you see is what you get, nothing more, nothing less. I don't have any high end guitars, so this is more than enough to meet my needs. If you have a Gibson or MIA Fender, you might want to get something better quality.

If you're looking for a quality gig bag that's comfortable and that will fit an Ibanez RG, do not buy this bag... It's very akward, uncomfortable, and it doesn't feel very safe. The pockets aren't safe (I almost lost my trem bar and my allen wrenches because they fell off the pockets somehow). It's worth the price, but I don't really recommend it.

Take a good look at the picture, that's what you get. It works great with my guitar. The padding isn't crazy thick, but it totally does the job. The pouch in the front has a messenger bag-type flap (with the typical clip) that covers the many different pockets. No, the pockets don't have zippers as noted in other reviews; they do have velcro though. But, again, it does get the job done. As long as you don't turn your guitar upside down in the bag and shake it, you won't lose things. I can fit several sets of strings, 3 sets of 10'+ cables, and various picks and cable ties all in those pockets without even coming close to filling the space under the flap.

Take it from a guy who's still learning new stuff about the music biz every day; it's a great buy for the price and you'll be pleased.

This bag is TERRIBLE. The padding isn't enough to protect anything. I'm blown away by all the positive reviews I'm seeing. Since I got it blem (don't know why it was blem -- nothing visibly wrong with it), it's not even worth it to ship it back. Seriously, buy something, ANYTHING else. This bag reminds me of those cheap nylon backpacks they give away at conventions and trade shows.

Good at sale price

I got this when it was on sale for half of the regular price so I can't complain. After I got it the price immediately went up. At that price I would complain. Padding not as thick as I had expected, but it has a lot of room to store stuff. I got if for the Rogue dreadnaut, and I didn't want to get a case that cost more than the guitar. The value rating is based on the cheap sale price I got it for.
