I´ve been playing guitar for 35 years now. Always been playing (and still do) Gibson Les Pauls. The Y2D ist the Steve Morse playing it in Berlin, I had to play the guitar. After an hour of playing it, I had to have it. And after only 1 month, the Y2D became my "first" guitar. Smooth neck, great tremolo, super sustain, various sounds. Wow

this guitar is the absolute best guitar that i have ever played, but i now find that all ernie ball guitars feel that way to me, amazing workmanship throughout. beats my usa deluxe fat strat, my usa peavey wolfgang , and my usa peavey hp hans down. i am changing out the bridge pickup for the warmer sounding tone zone, but thats it, will probably sell off my other guitars today!!!

ANYONE with working eyes can see that there is ONLY a 5-way switch on this guitar and NO toggle. So you do NOT get 11 pickup combinations. The 11 pickup combinations are on the main Steve Morse Signature Guitar (which I own).

But, all of the Steve Morse models are AWESOME. They play fantastic and have some of the best tone ANYWHERE.

The whole point of the Y2D was to simplify the pickup switching of the main guitar for players who might not need that much of a variety of tone.

You can't go wrong with any of these guitars, but it is kind of sad that the item is listed so OBVIOUSLY incorrectly.
