This guitar had everything I was looking for, so I instantly fell in love with it. Now that I own it, its incredible, the thing is so easy to play that I have 12 gauge strings on it for a nice fat tone, and it still plays better then my RG and Strat!!! Beautiful finish, all-tho not the one shown in the picture which is what I thought at first.

I have tried out some and they all have nice necks. They are small, in a good way and they are fast! Very nice pickups and it stayed in tune with the tremolo being used. The petrucci model is very nice and the piezos sound true. Steve lukather signature has a very unique sound as it has emg pickups. Overall, I like these and I hope to own one some day.

Music Man guitars in general are the best designed and best built solid body bolt neck guitars on the market PERIOD! I traded a top of the line American Standard Deluxe Telecaster even swap for a fixed bridge Silhouette. Never looked back and definitely no regrets. It took me a while to get used to the 24 fret neck because much of everyone's technique involves muscle memory I found myself playing a couple of frets off for a couple days. It's light has spectacular action and is extremely versitile. Did I say it was light? :-) The best neck joint of any bolt neck bar none. Great tone, great action, GREAT GUITAR! Buy one you won't be sorry. :-)

What can I say? It’s a HSH, fixed bridge with a 24-fret maple neck. I bought mine in either 95 or 96, can't remember which, it’s been my main guitar since that day. If an instrument could feel like an extension of the musician, this is as close as it's ever gotten for me. At the time I bought it, my band was playing 5 hour gigs each night, 3 to 4 nights a week, and my back felt like it was starting to feel like it resembled the “Hunchback of Notre Dame” from the weight of my other guitars. With very little setup this instrument has been rock solid and never let me down. It's fast, light and fun to play. Did I say it was light? I would love to have another just like this one only with the Albert Lee pick-ups in it, but last I checked that is not an option. Regardless, this is the best musical purchase I’ve ever made. I’m one happy customer and this guitar is the instrument of choice for me.
