I own the SRV-112 and use it in a stereo setup as an extension cab off my Maverick 1X12 combo. I amplify my effects seperately through two more 1X12 cabs. The problem with this product is that the effect gets washed out by the other speakers and is very subtle. In a live miked environment, the effect is great as I can take advantage of the two integral mikes - a great feature. I've tried this cabinet as the only speaker, plugging my speaker out on the combo direct to it. And, the effect is much better. But, it is still very subtle. Those of you looking for that Leslie sound you've heard on songs like Badge, or Cold shot, will be dissapointed. I think this product is best suited to recording situations and live , miked situations where you can take advantage of the internal mikes. Also, a Celestion Vintage 30 in place of the stock speaker might improve the clarity of the sound.

I've waited for an affordable Leslie for years. I was ecstatic that Motion Sound made this product specifically for guitar. Their keyboard products have always garnered high praise. While I'm ecstatic with this purchase. I also knew that there would be a lot of guys that would buy this and not be satisfied as this effect is not as dramatic as say the H&K Rotosphere stompbox. But, this is a truer effect to my ear. This product is best used as the only cab with a low wattage head. I use it as an extension off my Maverick 1X12. I also take a signal from my effects loop and run it thru my Gmajor to my Boogie 50/50 stereo power amp and out thru two Rectifier 1X12's. Yeah, I know, could,ve just bought a 4X12. But, this is more versatile and nothing over 40lbs, except the Mav. Bottom line is that the effect gets washed out somewhat with the added speakers. Yet, there is an added and very subtle depth to the overall sound that I love. And it is room filling. In a live, miked or a studio environment, this cab will slay. It has two integral mikes. My plan is to mike every speaker and run the 5 mikes to a Behringer 8X2 line mixer, panning the Leslie left and right (9 & 3)as well as the Rectifier cabs (10 & 2) while the Mav will occupy front and center. The stereo out will go to either a live console or my Boss 1600 recorder. This cab will shine in this arena. But, live and unmiked I think you'll have a lot of unsatisfied guitarists unless they reflect sound from the sides out, or as I said , use it with a head as the only speaker. I would replace the speaker, in that event, with an Alnico Gold like I have in my Mav, or it's cheaper cousin, a Vintage 30 - a great speaker in it's own right. The bottom line for me is I love it, but I think it's not for all. It adds so much depth, particularly to the chorus program in my Gmajor being amplified by my 50/50 and served up my my 2 Rectifier cabs. I suggest you try it at a store first, if you can, unless you're not opposed to return shipping if you're dissatisfied.
