I just bought this pedal a little over a week ago, and finally it came in the mail today (I'm currently living in South Korea). When I first took it out of the package, I was impressed with the sheer quality of the metal casing. This thing is built to last. It's a little heavy and bulky, but not to the point where it would become a chore to move around. The grip on the footpedal is perfect if you're like me and you tend to move around a lot when you play. I tested how easy it was for your foot to slip and for you to accidentally kill your set volume, and you'd pretty much have to fall on it for that to happen. The pedal itself is very sturdy, and it doesn't move until you want it to. I was anxious all day at work to try it out, and was excited to finally get the opportunity to plug it in and give it a whirl. Simply put, it does its job extremely well. Make you sure put it as the last pedal in your chain out to your amp so that it doesn't interfere with your gain. The minimum volume feature is extremely handy for ensuring you're never too quiet, and even while running some crushing low-end distortion through my ML-2 Metal Core pedal, it gave me dead silence when I put it to the upright position. Well worth the money if you're looking for durability and quality.

I'll get right to the point:

Personally, I enjoy using it. It's got a wonderful transition from a dead-silence to the full volume you would expect. It's built with a hard metal case so you could throw a brick at it and the most it would do is scratch the paint. I've owned this pedal for alittle over 2 years (perhaps longer, I forget) and my only complaint -sadly- is that you have to basically put some of your weight on the heel of the foot pedal to get it to stay in place. And even then it depresses back down.

Awesome volume pedal, it does it's job well and is built to last. All optical means there are no wires or pots to go out on you. I will keep this pedal forever.

I've had my Little Alligator on my board for well over two years now and it has become very handy. I mostly use it to fade out the ends of songs and to make sudden stops. It's very flexible though and built like a tank.

This volume pedal is flawless and built like a tank. No one seems to have problems with the electronics and it's tough construction should last as long as I keep playing. I use it for a volume cut, I raise the minimum volume about halfway so I can easily drop my volume for soft parts of the song. Works great, never had a problem. Needs to be the LAST pedal going into the amp so it won't interfere with your gain.
