Rear Bottom Left-facing Right-facing Powersupply

For sheer luxury and inimitable sound quality, the MF-104Z may be the world's finest floor instrument delay. The MF-104Z features controls that allow you to vary the sound in a variety of ways possible only with a Moogerfooger.

Drive and output levels let you adjust for signal strength. The delay time is variable from slightly less than 50 msec to slightly more than 1000 msec. Mix pot controls from completely dry to completely wet or anything in between. Feedback control mixes a portion of the delayed signal with the signal from your instrument. Feedback control can generate a single echo, sustaining echoes, or echoes that build up in chaotic ways. Switchable Internal Loop/External Loop selects the feedback path. In the Internal Loop position the feedback path goes directly from the output of the delay back to the input. In the External Loop position the feedback path goes through the Loop Out Jack and the Loop In Jack. This gives you an opportunity to insert signal processing in the feedback path, thereby enabling processing of the echoes as they are generated. Very cool with another Moogerfooger (unbelievable with the MuRF). Loop Gain controls the signal level which is applied to the Loop In jack when the "External Loop" is on. Inputs include: Audio In, Feedback Amount, Delay Time, and Wet/Dry Mix. Outputs include Mix Out and Delay Out. The Output Level on the front panel adjusts the levels of the direct and delayed signals that appear at the Mix Out and Delay Out.

Good delay, but not worth the price

After playing with this delay for a good while I was able to get some nice tones out of it, but ultimately it is not worth the heavy investment. I decided to get an AD-9 over this and am just as happy with that as I was with the Moogerfooger, plus I was able to get some nicer reverb from it as well. I own 2 other Moog pedals and I'm afraid this one just isn't worth being a third.

Well, as for me, I love it. You can get some strange tones by aadding another delay in the loop and adjusting the intensity. I also love that the repeats are controllable via an expression pedal.

Rip Off

This pedal is a complete rip off. I might pay 20 dollars for this pedal. This pedal makes way too much hiss and noise. And when you set it for infinite repeats it gets louder and louder and louder until it over loads the circuits in the pedal or kills your amp, which ever one comes first. I returned mine promptly. For 700 dollars I expected this pedal to be perfect in every way. Not even close.

Nice if you want CV

This is an AWESOME delay. I would only recommend it if you plan on using expression pedals or other CV sources. It will really open up the possibilities of this pedal. There is no other delay with the CV options. The effects loop is a fantastic add on. It is so much fun. If you do not plan on using the CV inputs, then get another delay, because as you know, this thing is NOT cheap.

MoogerFooger!

The amount of control you have over the shape of this effect is what ultimately makes it worth the money. The mix knob affords you complete control over the volume of both the strummed note and the delayed notes. At 5 they are both equal but at 10, your strummed note is silent and the delayed repetitions magically flutter out of your amplifier. The feedback knob is my favorite though. Turned all the way up, the delayed repetitions build up on each other into chaotic noise, and turning the rate knob at that point creates these pitch shifting, radio dialing-esque noises that I've yet to see any other delay pedal recreate. If you're like me and want as much control over your sound as possible, then this pedal is a worthy investment
