The Moog Moogerfooger Low Pass Filter contains 2 complete modular functions: a voltage-controlled lowpass filter and an envelope follower. Use with any instrument- or line-level signal, and the MF-101 is ready to be tweaked for classic Moog filter guitar effects.

For Moog this is one of the cheaper pedals. It can be a great auto wah, or if your into "knob tweaking" Get it. The only down side is there is no True Bypass When the pedal is off your tone is still affected by the gain knob and any pedal after before or after the moog will be altered. Which isnt a bad thing all the time. But i had to constantly adjust my amp and settings when i wasnt using it. It needs a true bypass. But on a bright side its quality sound and lets face it, it looks awsome on a pedal board.

This is a good buy for any musician. Probably the most versatile effect I've ever come across. It's most obvious guitar application is sweet wah for the funk beauty. But let me remind you this works for ANY AUDIO SOURCE. In fact, once you push the resonance past 8 it becomes its own audio source. You can make any sort of abbrasive tone sound very comfortable and accomodating. You can plug the mic that's amping your bass drum into it for slightly prolonged basshit power(whatever pitch you want). Can set a tape recording through it and completely obscure the music into a high squeal only to open the sound up like a zipper the next moment revealing true sonic wonder. The applications are endless.

This low pass filter is the best for bass! THICK easy to use real analog filter sound. The envelope follower can be used to get the autowah sound out of my other Moogerfoogers via control voltages. If you turn the RESONANCE knob past "8" , the filter in the MF-101 will oscillate. Try it you like it!

This pedal is amazing. It gives an awesome flange type effect but as if your doing it with a wah pedal. It's the best pedal I own. This is instant Stadium Arcadium. All the other cheap imitations are garbabe. No one else makes a low pass filter as good as this. It may be expensive, but save your money to get it and you'll be more happy than to have a knock off.
