The Michael Kelly Patriot Decree Electric Guitar features a set mahogany neck and mahogany body, rosewood fretboard, and Grover tuners. The mahogany combines with a Tune-O-Matic-style bridge, string-thru construction, and PAF-Plus humbucker pickups to give you big, sustained tone. this is an amazing guitar and is set at a great price i played the guitar at my local guitar shop and ended up trading 2 of my favorite guitars for it this guitar is very versatile you can play just about anything you want you can go from a death meatal solo to a clean country rythm so if you are lookin for a great guitar but dont wanna spend $10,000 this is definately the way to go

OK- I,ve been playing rock for 31 years and have lots of killer guitars and an awesome amp. The bottom line is it's an awesome guitar,great pickups sounds like a Les Paul,Incredible finish on black vapor pic does not even begin to do it justice,my only minor complaint is that the volume pots kind of abrubtly cut the sound off- rather than gradually. I LOVE this guitar and have used it as my main guitar for many gigs even though I have many guitars costing 2 and 3 times as much.

Alright, The pros: This guitar is definitely a bang for the buck. Very clean looking. I got it in black (put creme colored pickup frames on it). The neck is very smooth making the play ability great. The body style is straight up hard rock and anyone can make it look cool (most people atleast). The coil taps make it pretty versatile. Now, the cons: The pickups are pretty weak if you play a lot of hard rock, its pretty quite. But that can easily be fixed. I'm putting a set of hot rods in it (dont really need the coil taps)and im sure ill get the tone and bite i want out of it. Overall it is a great guitar, especially for the price tag. I've played one live show with it and got three compliments on it. Buy this guitar!

I did a lot of research before ordering the Decree. I'm on a tight budget, wanted a clean humbucker sound, and a big fat mahogany body. This guitar is well worth the price. Very versatile, and looks terrific. IMHO you can distort most guitars, and they will sound good. The real test is....does it sound good without any effects, and the Decree certainly does!

I bought this guitar for my son, I've been giving him lessons and he was ready for an electric. I have to say that for the price this is a lot of guitar. I could have spent half this and bought something that was poorly assembled with cheap components. Think about it, you're getting grover tuners, adjustomatic bridge, decent pickups (not crap, not top of the line either) and string-through body - plus nice neck inlays and a beautiful looking instrument as well. For the same money I think it was a much better deal than the Epiphones and cheap fenders I tried. You will be hard pressed to find another guitar with the same components for less... it's a solid purchase. I did buy this online and it came packaged well and ready to go. I did swap out the strings with some ernie balls - personal preferrence - but it's a good deal. comes with a cord, too.
