Most Transparent Compressor I've Used

I've had my CP-9 Pro+ for over a year, and I have to say that it has performed nothing short of awesome! It's VERY well built, and it's incredibly transparent. It's one of those pedals that you don't notice when it's on, but you know certainly notice when it's off. It nicely fattens up my Strat's tone, and is just great when go into a solo break and need that extra fatness and sustain that it brings. It's a bit on the pricey side, but it's so well worth it. Sometimes you have to pay to get the tonal and build quality of a pedal like this.

If you're looking for a great compressor that maintains your tone, look no further! Compressors generally fall into three camps tone-wise. They either produce a high-end sparkle, they're very squishy, or they're really transparent. The CP9 Pro+ falls into the last camp. It's very very transparent. Granted, that's not for everyone, but I've worked hard to achieve my tone, and I don't want anything messing it up. Especially if you generally play in low-volume venues, like small clubs or churches, a compressor is essential to cut through the mix and not step on your mates. I've tried about 20 different compressors over the past year, and the CP9 Pro+ is what I'm going to get.
