I have tried/used/own 90% of the dirt boxes made and vop9 is one of the best. Switch to 18v, turn the level all the way up, the tone to 7:00, and the dirt to your sweet and you have a super fat lead tone that is close to a tube driver but with out the noise and size. I didn't like it at first, I went back to it before I sold it and tweaked with it for a while...then it crushed all of the boutique and modified dirt boxes I own.
