The Martin Special Edition OMC Cherry Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar is an OM style with a soft Venetian cutaway crafted with sustainable cherry sides and a three-piece back of cherry with a maple center wedge. The top is crafted with "rescued" solid Sitka spruce. The OMC Cherry Guitar's cosmetic appointments include a cherry leave motif comprising the rosette and headstock, Herringbone purfling, maple headplate and position dots. Magical Sound and Feel

The sound from this guitar is full, from bottom end to top end. Everything you'd expect from Martin and then some. It's made from responsible wood sources. The electronics are hidden on the inside of the sound hole. The fishman pickup system rocks. The blend of pickup and "aura" presets make interesting combonations. The finish is awesome and the attention to detail, like the leaves around the soundhole (done by hand) is second to none. The classic headstock and nickel tuning keys are a very nice touch. I can't get enough of this guitar, I put it away, then take it back out... over and over. I'm addicted this this guitar. It's the sound I've dreamed of.

I've used this guitar on a few live shows, and in my studio, and again, I have no regrets shelling out the extra cash for this. I would recomend it to anyone looking to purchase a high-end acoustic. Also if you are a lefty... keep your eyes open, make some calls. I actually snagged one ;) Nice guitars are hard to find, when you are a lefty. I actually feel like I won the lottery.
