Amazing 12-string

I got this guitar for my birthday. My dad told me he would get me a guitar for my birthday, so I had to choose which one I wanted. I've wanted a 12-string for a long time, so naturally I went to the guitar store and tried every 12-string I could find. I liked the sound of this one the most... I like my acoustics to sound less bright, a little bit softer sounding. After finding nothing but bright-sounding guitars, I found this martin in the corner and it blew me away. Great guitar!

I have had mine for four years now, it's wonderful. It's not my first 12 string, that's my instrument of choice above all others. This one just was "it" for me. The sound is all Martin. The feel and action are excellent. I have also had opportunity for some serious pro players to handle it and the feedback was "sounds great - nice guitar". It holds tuning better than any guitar I have ever had. I think it was a very wise purchase and a bargain. I like it so well that I am about to get my husband a six string version to provide him with change from his hollow body/arch tops.

I own 2 of these. There is a reason for that. One at my office and one at home it is an awesome sounding guitar, built very solidly and a great price. It is my mianstay guitar out of all of them and I own 7 as of today. I have tried all the other 12 strings I could from all other brands and price ranges. This cannot be beat in so many ways. A+ Martin!

i was on a mission to find THE 6-string guitar for me. the one that sounded rich, smooth, shimmery, and full. after auditioning several dozen acoustics, i found that the only one that had the sound i wanted was a $2400 taylor, which was outside my budget. then i just started playing every guitar in the room, and this one blew me away. i came back twice over the next few days to be sure i was hearing correctly, and yeah--this guitar was consistently unbelievable, at a crazy low price. you'll be hard-pressed to find any guitar at any price that is this well balanced tonally. hearing is believing. plus the playability is phenomenal. the neck is more narrow than i've seen on other 12-strings and the action is easier than many 6-strings at this price point. all-around winner.

I have owned it for about 6 months now. Played quite a few gigs. First thing I did was install a Matrix Infinity system from Fishman. Install it yourself , its not difficult, just go slow and be careful. I play thru a Gigrac 600 and a nice pair of Warfedale Titan passive speakers. The sound is rich. When I walk into my practice room I can smell that beautiful spruce wood. The guitar is opening up now. I have given it a good home.
