Natural, Back Natural, Close Angle Natural Natural

The RW Custom 02 Acoustic-Electric Guitar is the result of a collaboration between us and the Martin Custom shop. This beauty is made in the classic dreadnought style, out of select tonewoods such as a solid Adirondack spruce top-the same wood found on Martin's fabled prewar dreadnoughts-and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides. Quality materials and attention to detail are standards for Martin and the Custom 02 guitar is no exception. You'll be as proud to own this American dream as we are to offer it!

The built-in Fishman Gold+Plus Natural will capture and amplify the natural voice of this unique instrument making it ideal for musicians who need to "compete in the mix" onstage, such as flatpickers who require a little extra attack in order to stand out from the band.

I bought this model soon after its announcement. I have not been disappointed! This is my dream guitar..I have played many D28's D35's, etc, and this stands up to any of them. I have tried the Fishman pickup, and its terrific, exactly the kind of sound for playing out you would want. Too bad it has been discontinued..its a winner.

If you love acoustics, your buds won't know it is an acoustic-electric until you plug it. There are no hurkie looking controls to ruin the beauty of this rosewood Martin. Unplugged, this guitar produces a magnificant sound across its entire tonal range which you can attribute to the skilled Martin craftsmanship, the Adirondack spruce top, and rosewood body. The neck, bridge, and strings all combine for a very player friendly action. There is a lot of guitar here for the money! The price was at the very top of my budget and I am elated with this Martin I now get to play daily!

I was very pleased when I received my Adirondack custom. Classic Martin sound, the setup was low and very easy on the fingers. For your dollar you won't go wrong. I recommend this guitar for anyone who wants a good playing good sounding and looks good also.

It's too bad Martin discontinued this model. I have one and it holds its own against the D28 or D35...it actually sounds better than my D35, much more clarity and clear tone bass. The built in Fishman is fantastic. I think Martin may have lost money by producing more of these because it would have taken away sales from their higher end guitars. I wouldn't trade mine for anything.

Yes, this does sound like you guess it would. But better. Chest thumping bass and beautiful rich/complex highs and mids as thick as pea soup. All balanced slightly dark and to perfection.(I have not tried amplified yet but am not worried). Talk about responsive!! ANY dynamic range is easily attained. Prettier in person with ivroid binding on top(sides). Perfectly bookmatched woods. The top is gloss and very light colored with a slightly wider/irregular grain(common with Red Spruce-and perfectly acceptable. The back and sides are breath taking EI rosewood with gorgeous color and grain and polished high gloss. No binding on back(sides and back butt to one another). The neck is satin and very comfortable with thin well dressed frets. Action is med.high and can be lowered easily. After 2 hours play already MUCH sweeter. Get 'em while you can...I'm glad I did and being a 34 year player, I'm extremely picky!
