as a young boy growing up i was always told Martin made the best guitar, now as a grown man i have always wanted a Martin and now i finally have one, the OMC-1E is a fantastic guitar the neck is smooth and has a great look to it, i know what a satin finish is but was expecting a little more shine to the body, it has a very thin satin finish,almost natural wood but, upon picking it up and starting to play it i understood why the finish was thin, the sound is amazing, having a very thin finish the wood really resinates and has a great tone and ring to it. the on board electronics are great to especially the tuner. you can really tell the quality and workmanship that is put into this guitar and yes it is made in the U.S.A. the price on this is low for the quality you get, you cant go wrong with this guitar, after all it is a Martin.

I was looking for a acoustic and when I saw this I knew the search was over. I pre ordered this and received it about 2 weeks sooner then expected! The quality is amazing and I love the the Sapele back and sides, the Stratabond neck is really nice and action is just right. I was gonna go with a mid priced yamaha but I'm so glad I went with this martin. Lots of fun to play!
