There's definitely better cabs out there but I've had this for a few years and it's not as bad as everybody is saying. I don't know what kind of speakers are in it other than Celestion, but they have a scooped sound to them that I don't particularly like. With a little work I have been successful at adjusting my amp to get a better sound, but not completely getting that scoop out. This cab might be a good choice for someone who wants that modern scooped characteristic in their sound, otherwise look elsewhere.

This cab sounds really bad. I purchased this cab with the Marshall MG HDFX 100 head a few years ago and finally traded in the head for an Epiphone valve jr which sounds much better. The head is only 5 watts, but it's a tube head so it still gets pretty loud. With the volume on at half way, it's still plenty loud for a medium size gig through this cab. Here's the thing. I've cranked the amp on stage, then went down onto the floor in front of the stage to get right in front of the cab and it sounds so harsh. It just makes your ears hurt. It sounds great standing next to the amp but that's because your not really hearing everything it's putting out because you're standing over it. Do yourself a favor and save for a professional cab. B-52 makes some good cabs with celestion 30's, and marshall as well, but they cost a bit more. The best deal is Avatar, google them.
